Mysteriously this week I was painting with colors I never use, oranges and purple-reds. We think our acts in the studio are of a conscious nature.

ReplyDeletethis made me think about how life filters through us. every day changes us in ways that we charge through or sit back and observe.
ReplyDeletethat's one of the gifts of the creative process, perhaps, is that it for some tangible split second reveals all those things we can't articulate otherwise. that while painting, conscious, here and now thought becomes, as steff says, life and all its pasts, presents, and futures, filtering through onto the paper, wood, or canvas...
