What is it?

I'm constantly amazed and enraptured by the bizarre logic of three-year-olds. Probably reading too much into it, but some of the arrangements the daughter leaves or concocts put me into a more innocent, fractured mindset. Not that these examples really communicate that, it's just weird stuff she does.

  2. I came home from work one day, when my daughter was young, to find a perfectly, beautifully shaped heart, cut with great patience and precision, from the center cushion of the living room sofa. When I asked her (as calmly as I could) what had compelled her to do that she said, " I am making a collage and that was exactly the color I needed." I completely understood.

It's the wonderful hapenstance of beauty, the gift right there to grab.

  3. i can't think of the last time i thought of putting purple shoes on a grey dog or a doily on a dinosaur or for that matter having two toy cars engage in what looks to be a friendly conversation.
