it has to be easier than i am making it, to search through 1000s of photos to find one of an artwork, but at least one did appear and here it is, a testament to my determination to slog through my maddeningly inept abilities.
and then there is the artwork itself. i have no idea what or where it is or even if i have painted over it since it took the photo, but i sort of like it..whatever it is, and that is good enough for today.
Steff, this is so dense and beautiful and dark. How big is it? Like a Pollock/Keifer....
ReplyDeleteI love the markings, and circular lines, and the light top left fogging down and throughout, yet still the darkening complexities of the bottom right remind of depth and layers and contemplation. Beautiful...
ReplyDeletenot very big, if it is the one i think it is. the camera picks up layers that are not visible otherwise and this intrigues me and starts a whole conversation in my head about what to think about that. what to do about that. is this then another work, the camera now becoming a collaborator? is that o.k.?
